de silang is the name of this personal project, inspired by the filipino revolutionary maría josefa gabriela cariño de silang, whom my mother named me after. she represents courage, leadership, and the pioneering spirit of women in the fight for freedom, becoming a symbol of Filipino resistance and female empowerment.
drawing from her legacy of strength and resilience, i felt it fitting to carry her name forward with a brand that blends creative expression, authenticity, and purpose.
and so de silang was born. driven by a desire to adorn the feminine in pieces that could carry both purpose and story. our jewellery is designed to be worn with intention, each piece thoughtfully crafted to bring both beauty and meaning into everyday life.
