Hibla is a single row of long, narrow beads, cut fine enough that the strand reads as one continuous line rather than a row of stones. At 43cm it sits close at the base of the neck, just above the collarbone. Named for the Tagalog word for a strand, a fibre, a single thread.
Red agate runs deep and warm, a saturated red that moves as it catches the light. Cut long and thin, each bead shows more of its banding than it would in a round cut, so the colour travels along the strand instead of repeating.
Wear it on its own for something clean, or layer it under a longer chain so the two lengths sit apart. It reads as easily against a bare neck as it does over a collar. Made with the Hibla earrings, if you want the pair.
