NATURAL RED AGATE BEADS

The Luha earrings with the Lila necklace. Luha is built from beads that grow as they fall, small at the top and widest at the base, so the earring settles into a teardrop rather than starting as one. Lila is the counterweight: a fine strand of small beads at 44cm, sitting neatly at the base of the throat. Two weights of the same stone, worn together.

Red agate is a warm, deep red, banded and faintly translucent. The light moves through it rather than sitting on the surface, so the colour shifts a little as you do. Graduated at the ear and fine at the neck, the same stone reads two ways.

The Luha is a two piece earring, worn three ways. The stud on its own, the drop hanging behind the earlobe, or the drop hanging in front of it.

Wear it as it comes, or split it. The Lila layers under longer chains without crowding them. The Luha sits best with a bare neck and hair back.
